- Prepare 1/4 cup fresh cream
- Get 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Take 3 tbsp oil

Steps to make Kasuri Methi Chicken Gravy:
- In a bowl take cleaned chicken. Add all the other ingredients mentioned for chicken marination. Mix well and keep aside for minimum half an hour.
- Soak the cashews in hot water for 20 minutes and grind to a fine paste. Soak kasuri methi in hot water for 5 minutes, strain and keep aside.
- In a pan heat oil and butter. Add finely chopped onions and slit green chilies. Saute until onions are translucent.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes away. Add turmeric and chili powder and saute for 20 seconds.
- Add chopped tomatoes and salt, cover and cook till the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
- Add the marinated chicken and mix well. Cover and cook for 20 minutes stirring in between.
- Add cashewnut paste and mix well. Add drained kasuri methi, fresh cream and mix.
- Add half cup water or as needed. Mix well and let it come to boil. Simmer and cook until the gravy thickens and reach desired consistency.
- Sprinkle garam masala, coriander leaves and cook for a minute.
- Serve kasuri methi chicken gravy with naan, roti or jeera pulao.
