- Wash and drain the chicken. Marinate chicken with the ingredients mentioned and rest it for minimum 30 minutes to overnight in the fridge.

- Add 3 n half cups of warm water, required salt and let it come to a boil. Add drained rice and let it cook.
- When rice is half one add crushed kasuri methi, lemon juice and mix gently. When rice is almost done close tightly with a lid and put it on dum for 8-10 mins. Place a thick tawa in the bottom for even distribution of heat.
- Let it rest for minimum 10 minutes and open the lid. Gently fluff up with a spoon.
