- slowly stir in your milk… turn down the heat to low and allow to simmer with a lid on for a few minutes.
- if your gravy is too thick. .. thin it with a little more milk or water… adding only a tablespoon or so at a time. if it is too thin… just add a little bit of flour only a teaspoon at a time. .. stirring well in between each addition giving it time to be absorbed.
- serve over biscuits, cornbread, or even noodles.
