  1. Heat oil fry sliced onions to golden brown,add ginger garlic paste,Haldi,slit green chillies,curry leaves,and chicken,soak rice for 1/2 hr,and boil with salt and whole Garam masala, (add 1/2 TSP lime juice optional) till 3/4 do done,strain and keep aside.
  2. In the chicken mixture add tamarind pulp and Garam masala,cook the chicken till done,in vessel put oil at the base and spread a layer of rice over it put the chicken mixture cover with remaining rice,cover and cook till stream comes out.
  3. Garnish with fried onions,serve hot with raita.
